Welcome to the home page for the Wolf River Walleye Club. The idea of local outdoor writer Joel "Doc" Kunz and other local anglers, Doc looks forward to getting together, making new friends and talking walleye fishing. For those of you who heard about us at our annual ICE BREAKER Sports Show, thanks for attending and for signing up. For those of you who are just finding out about us, thanks for visiting our web site and we encourage you to join. As stated, it is not our goal to raise money for spawning marshes, shoreline improvement or any other type of philanthropy, there are very good and qualified clubs who do that. Our goal is to continue to provide a FREE resource for the sharing of information where anglers get together and learn about the great walleye fishing here in Wolf River Country. We will organize meetings throughout the year at the Hahn-A-Lula in Fremont, Damn Yankees in Hortonville and Woodeyes in Winneconne with a yearly "meeting" and extravaganza at our annual ICE BREAKER, which will be hosted by Critters Sports. During these meetings we will discuss current conditions, tips and techniques that should help you catch fish. A list of meetings will be posted and a monthly newsletter will be created to keep a good flow of information.
Without members there will be no reason to get together so we encourage you to join us at our meetings and ask you to tell your friends who fish the Wolf River system to come along. There will be no better place for them to get the kind of information on walleye fishing Wisconsin's Wolf River that has taken many anglers years to amass. Local guides, resort owners and tournament anglers have already signed up to be a part of this great new club. We just need to go forward and organize ourselves so we can all be better fishermen and stewards of the great Wolf River system. So please make sure to check the schedule and come out and join walleye enthusiasts from all over the Midwest who want to learn more about fishing the Wolf River.
